Urban Vantage is pleased to announce that a new partner has joined the firm. Garret Wyckoff received his MUP from SUNY Buffalo in 2017, completing dual specializations in economic development and urban design. Garret previously worked for Steinmetz Planning Group in Rochester, where he was involved in all aspects in the plan preparation process, as well as community engagement and grant writing. At Urban Vantage, Garret will assist in the identification of incentives, drafting grant applications, site plan preparation, and community outreach, among other responsibilities.

Professionally, Garret has strong interest in economics and community revitalization, urban design, infrastructure, and public policy. Garret was inspired to pursue a career in urban planning after a spending a semester abroad in the highly walkable city of Edinburgh, Scotland, as an undergraduate.
